New Year's Day 2009 Paddle

Kat and I are traveling down to Arroyo Burro Beach just north of Santa Barbara for a New Year's Day paddle. We'll do a very minor surf launch from the beach, paddle down to Santa Barbara Harbor and Stearn's Wharf, and then return to Arroyo Burro for a late lunch at the Brown Pelican Restaurant. The whole trip is about 10 miles and the wind and ocean swell down there is pretty much non-existent (nothing like our wind and swell here). Our plan is to be at the beach by about 9 a.m..If you'd like to come and need directions, post here or call me at 805-474-1474. Tiffany Do you find this valuable?

Hey Tiff,Send me directions....I would love to join you guy's but I've got to figure out a way to get out of this prior committment.....??? I love paddling down in that area. Hi Victor! It'd be great if you could make it! Here's the directions to the beach: From the 101, take Las Positas Road exit south to Cliff Drive and turn right. The park entrance is one-half mile from the turn. Apparently this beach is also called "Hendry's Beach" by the locals. It's going to be beautiful down there tomorrow! Hey Tiff,Oh ya, Henry's Beach......I've paddled put of there to Santa Barbara a few years back. It's a great little Beach. They've got great Hamburgers there! Bummer, I'm unable to make it plus my cash is funny right now, so even with the price of gas as low as it is, I can't afford the drive. Well, have an awesome paddle and stroke a few fore me.
