SUP Demo Day?

Does anyone have plans for a demo day for stand up paddle boards? I was thinking it would be a nice way to introduce the sport for folks who were interested but didn't want to put out a lot of money before trying it out.

Just a thought. Do you find this valuable?

So far there is a few shops that sell SUPs in the area, but none are really big enough to do a demo day unless they get a rep out here with their boards. The best place to demo a board is at surfingsports.com in santa barbara. I just talked to the owner today and he open 10-6 seven days a week. He has tons of inventory and great deals on boards, paddles etc. I may try to get down there sometime.

I think Christian Shuben has a couple of demo boards. I rented two of them for the pier to pier paddle in summer. Give him a holler, He's a real nice guy.
