This is a small lake in the dunes outside of the town of Guadalupe. It's a fantastic place for birding and seeing other wildlife, raccoons especially.
The only drawback is that you must park then carry or cart your boat down a service road to get to the lake. There is no official launch area other than a wide spot beside the bridge boardwalk that spans the lake. If you're a committed birder and enjoy birding by boat, it's worth the portage.
