Hi,

I took up Kayaking when we moved to the Central Coast late 07. I used to be an avid hiker, but soon found kayaking when the hiking opportunities were not as close to home as they used to be

I work in Santa Barbara County and live in Nipomo. Since joining CCPN I have met some reallly great people and have been introduced to some Kayaking opportunities that I otherwise wouldn't have had the chance to experience. I encourage anyone to sign up and join us for any of our many day trips. Even newbies (as I was and still am) are welcome and will not be left behind :>)
I started with a Venus 11 and have since moved on to a Necky Dolphin for a sit on top, a Necky Looksha IV for a sit inside and a Kaos for a surf kakak (yes, a girl has to have a kayak for ALL occasions :>)
I also enjoy hiking.
